A business website that's set up right, and stays yours

A clean one-page site, a quote form that actually reaches you, your domain, and email on that domain. All done properly, explained in plain English, with a fixed price before I start.

Who this is for

You run a contracting crew, a salon, a cleaning company, or a small office. You want customers to find a real website, see what you do, and send a request that lands in the right inbox. This is a good fit if:

  • You don't have a website yet, and customers keep asking for one.
  • Your site is out of date, broken on phones, or you're not sure who's paying for it.
  • Your only online presence is a Facebook page, and you want something you control.
  • A designer or nephew built your site, then moved on with the logins, and now nobody can change anything.

What you get: the Business Launch Bundle

  • A one-page website that works on phones and loads fast: who you are, what you do, where you work, and how to reach you.
  • A quote or contact form that sends straight to your email, with spam protection, tested before handoff.
  • Your domain, registered or connected in your name, with DNS set up correctly.
  • Up to 2 business email accounts on that domain, like you@yourbusiness.com.
  • SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records configured and verified, so your email is properly authenticated. More on that on the business email page.
  • One round of revisions after you see the first version.
  • A written handoff: every login, what I set up, where it lives, and what it costs you each year.

Basic search setup, without the hype

Every site gets the groundwork search engines look for: a clear page title and description, a sitemap, clean headings, and your business details (name, phone, service area) marked up in a format Google can read. That gives you a solid start. I don't promise rankings, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

How it works

What to expect, start to finish

Most packages are done in one to two weeks. The biggest factor is how quickly you can send me content and approve the draft.

1. A free 15-minute call

You tell me about the business and what you have now. I tell you honestly what makes sense, then send a fixed written quote.

2. 50% to start

Half up front, the rest at handoff. No monthly contract from me, and no surprise charges.

3. What I need from you

Your logo if you have one, a few photos of your work, your services and service area, and where leads should go. The work is done remotely.

4. Review and handoff

You review the draft, I make your round of changes, then I test the form and email and hand everything over in writing.

Who owns what

You do. The domain is registered in your name, the email accounts are in your provider account, and the website files and hosting account are yours. With the written handoff, you could give it all to someone else tomorrow without asking me.

I've spent 15+ years in IT and systems administration, and the most common mess I've seen is a business locked out of its own domain. Setting up ownership correctly from day one costs nothing and saves a lot of pain later.

What's not included

  • Extra pages. A services page, a gallery, a page per town: those are quoted, and I'll tell you if you actually need them.
  • Moving old email. Migrating existing mailboxes is quoted separately, because it depends on how much there is and where it lives.
  • Online stores, booking systems, and memberships. Ask me, and I'll give you an honest answer on whether I'm the right fit.
  • Ongoing support. Help after your project is available, planned and quoted.

Already have a site?

If your current site is broken, slow, or stuck with someone else's logins, tell me on the free call. I'll look at what you have and give you an honest assessment: sometimes a fix is enough, sometimes starting fresh is cheaper. Either way you get a fixed quote before any work starts. If you only want a website and already have email you're happy with, that's quoted too.

This site is an example of the work

The site you're reading, its quote form, and its email records were set up the same way I'd set up yours: fast, simple, and documented.

FAQ

Website questions

How much will my website cost in total?

The bundle starts from $799 as a one-time fee, and your quote is fixed before I start. After that you pay your domain (about $10–20 a year) and your email accounts directly. If your site needs a paid hosting plan, I'll tell you up front, and the exact ongoing costs go in your quote.

Can I update the site myself?

Small changes like hours or phone numbers are quick for me to do, and I can quote them as you need them. If you'd rather edit it yourself, tell me on the call and we'll pick a setup that suits that.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

No one can honestly promise that. I set up the basics search engines need to understand your business. Rankings depend on things like your Google Business Profile, reviews, and competition in your area.

My old designer has my logins. Can you help?

Usually, yes. Recovering a domain or hosting account takes some paperwork and patience, but it's often possible. We'll go over what you know on the free call.
